3D/4D ultrasound images can be obtained during patient exams, but their quality depends on factors like the baby's position and amniotic fluid. The best time for clear images is between 26-31 weeks. Hydration and keeping the baby active can improve image quality. Elective ultrasounds can be scheduled for better pictures.
